I am a Native Oregonian.

You're probably from California, or maybe even New York. It's ok. I don't hold it against you. The old guard of Oregonians liked slogans like "Welcome to Oregon, Enjoy Your Visit!" and "We Don't Tan, We Rust!" They weren't too keen on newcomers, but I welcome everyone here. After all, I'm not Native American, so I'm not really native here either! Just one piece of advice if you want to fit in: play nice and pick up your trash.

Where do I start with Aaron? He is probably one of the most ambitious, dedicated, thoughtful team-oriented leaders I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He puts his heart and soul in to his work and then still manages to save time to volunteer in his community. He is genuine and incredibly authentic which can be seen in the work he does, no matter what the project.
— Mollie Worcester, WGBH (PBS), Boston, MA
Aaron was Board President (1998-2004) at Epilepsy Foundation Northwest when I was Executive Director. He led the Board in establishing three major fundraising events, created a resource manual to support grant applications, and led the Foundation to win four different annual national awards. Aaron is a tranformational leader.
